A big reminder from the Information Commissioners Office to treat personal information with respect. Data Controllers need to know what  information they are holding. This is a useful warning if other people produce or manage your website – you cannot put you responsibilities under the Data Protection Act onto others and you need to make sure you know what happening with personal data you control.
