Subcontractor Opportunities

We are also keen to develop relationships with businesses that will operate under the Crimson Crab Banner as subcontractors for specific specialist services.

We are willing to engage with businesses that are able to demonstrate a responsible and transparent approach to their working and general practices and have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to improving working and ethical standards.

Crimson Crab also has a number of responsibilities to ensure it has adequate safeguards in place to:

  1. provide a first class service to its clients;
  2. demonstrate compliance with the UK regulatory framework;
  3. protect its information and that of its clients and comply fully with the requirements of the Data Protection Act.

If you are willing to work with us on this basis then please get in touch.

Our subcontractor agreement is here, so you can see the underlying Pay on time logoway  in which we work. We use a cloud based system for managing our subcontractors (we also supply this system as a licensed reseller), details can be found here. You will be given a login to the portal so that we can carry out our due diligence.

We are a registered Pay On Time Supporter so you can be assured of being paid when we say we will pay in our agreement.

The Prompt Payment Code

The Prompt Payment Code sets standards for payment practices and best practice and is administered by the Chartered Institute of Credit Management on behalf of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.

We ensure that we treat our suppliers fairly by making sure that we:

  • agree payment terms with our suppliers before placing an order
  • pay bills on or before the due date
  • tell our supplier immediately if we have a query with their invoice so that they can resolve the problem and still be paid on time
  • let our suppliers know immediately if anything is going to prevent payment by the day they expect it
  • make sure our suppliers know what information and detail we require on their invoices to enable us to approve and pay them promptly
  • check in advance where and how our suppliers need to be paid.
